If music is your profession, your passion, or both, MAATgo is for you. MAATgo is specially made for anyone who listens to HRA (high resolution audio) files and streams on their computer. In the golden age of consumer hi-fi, some preamps not only had a “balance” knob, but also stereo/mono mix controls and even an oscilloscope to instantly display the amplitude, frequency, and phase relationship between the left and right channels. Marantz, Panasonic, Pioneer, and SAE sometimes included an oscilloscope in their receivers, while Apt Corporation’s legendary and revolutionary Holman Corporation preamp had a number of channel redirect switches and continuous stereo/mono mixing control. It was not “extra functionality”, unnecessary functions to fill the list. Apt’s re-patch and blend controls served a very useful purpose.
