Description : Based on user feedback, we’ve distilled DarkFire’s core functionality to create WideFire. This plugin introduces innovative audio widening technology, offering a unique approach that surpasses traditional wideners. It delivers a natural and immersive wide stereo field while maintaining excellent compatibility with monophonic sources, and can even create stereo content from monophonic sources.
Key Features :
What does WideFire do?
Like DarkFire, WideFire is an analog-style saturator plugin that has a unique feature: after saturating the signal, the added harmonics are separated, an expansion algorithm is applied to them, and then they are mixed back into the original audio signal.
Natural and immersive stereo.
Achieve wider, more spacious sound without sacrificing clarity or introducing unwanted artifacts. WideFire adds a sense of space and dynamics to your tracks, bringing them to life.
Use it anywhere.
WideFire is ideal for enhancing vocals, guitars, and synths. It helps create spacious mixes without sacrificing mono compatibility, converting mono recordings into stereo tracks, enhancing the stereo image of any audio source, and more.
Realistic 3D interface with flexible settings.
The plugin’s photorealistic graphical interface creates the feeling of touching real hardware. It’s also easily adaptable to your needs. You can drag the arrow in the bottom right corner to resize it—reduce it to save screen space or enlarge it for easier use.
64-bit audio quality at ANY sampling rate. This plugin delivers the highest possible audio quality. It uses internal 64-bit audio processing and can work with any sampling rate, 192 kHz and higher.
Intelligent Bypass:
Thanks to our plugins’ intelligent approach to bypass, you won’t hear any clicks or other unwanted sounds when automating a parameter. Furthermore, the plugins compensate for latency, ensuring perfect synchronization of bypass states.
Intelligent sleep mode when idle:
This plugin intelligently determines whether processing is worthwhile. If not, it temporarily enters sleep mode. In this state, it uses virtually no CPU power to conserve computing resources for other processes.
First, the signal passes through an input filter and then through a saturator. The saturator generates additional harmonics, which are then separated from the original signal. This additional signal is then processed using a harmonic shaper and an output filter. This processed signal is then superimposed on the original dry signal.
HP controls the frequency of the input high-pass filter. The input filter processes the signal before it saturates.
DRIVE adjusts the gain applied to the saturator input.
HARMONIC LEVEL adjusts the level of the processed signal added to the dry signal.
OUTPUT controls the overall volume of the plugin
SIDE ONLY – When enabled, WideFire only affects the MID/SIDE side spectrum.
The LISTEN toolbar
mutes the dry signal, allowing you to hear only the extra harmonics that occur during saturation.
POWER – disables data processing by the plugin.
ACTIVATE – Opens your browser to search for the license file needed to unlock the full version.
COPY – Copies the settings from the currently selected slot A or B to another slot.
A & B — switches between two plugin states. This can be used to make more informed decisions by directly comparing “before” and “after.”
UNDO/REDO – Go back one step to avoid accidentally changing parameter values.
