Hollywood Fringe announces the release of PREMIERE ISSUE 4, the latest addition to its collection of signature sound effects. The 10 disc set is designed to work entirely beyond its predecessors or stand entirely on its own, with more than 10 hours of audio and 1200 effects. TIE 2000 Convention visitors will be among the first to hear the meeting when it debuts April 10th in Las Vegas.
The set contains actual sound effects from some of Hollywood’s biggest feature films, which include many scarce effects such as large room tones, cloth movement, new computers, high-tech sounds, real and Foley rain, and wood and metal scraping of every kind. There are effects from the Academy Awards, winning sound designers, and field recordings from the new Los Angeles subway, downtown LA and Los Angeles International Airport.
PE4 also contains both hard effects and complex connections, and special βscenesβ or multi-event effects – all intended to bring higher quality sound with maximum impact. Premiere Edition 4 is one of many collections available through Hollywood Edge – producers of one of the largest sound effects libraries in the world. Oliver Stone, Martin Scorsese and John Hughes are among the filmmakers who attest to the extensive collection produced and assembled by Hollywood
