Description: Multichannel distortion.
Subvert is a tough three-channel distortion processor designed to empty the frequency spectrum. Consists of 5 effects: multi-mode distortion, FM ring modulator, digitizer, metalizer and multi-mode filter. Subvert generates anything from subtle harmonics to ruthlessly coarse distortions. Offering three parallel channels for each effect chain, as well as many modulation and routing options, Subvert is our approach to signal distortion with a twist.
The multi-channel Subvert layout and each effect bypass option let you reorder the effects in each chain in different creative ways. With unconventional routing options, 15 effects processors, a global EQ, multiple modulation options, and a global randomizer, Subvert delivers stunning destructive effects.
Although the main focus of Subvert is on distortion, it has four additional effects that can be adjusted in different ways on its three channels. It is based on 2 envelope followers and 4 LFOs with additional tempo sync, the output of which can be inverted or combined using up to 4 mixers. The final sound of the plug-in can be created by using the master equalizer.
With the multi-mode filter as the first processor in each chain, multi-band effects can be set up in which each channel processes its own frequency range of the input signal. Bypassing specific effects in a chain allows you to globally reconfigure the order of effects, thereby giving you many options when setting up parallel and sequential processing.
