BFD2 allows you to customize the sound just like on a real drum kit instead of pushing buttons in your sampler.
You can even import your own sets of multilayer stereo samples, which will allow you to mix and superimpose your sounds in BFD2 for experimental sets of drum sounds and implement acceptance replace drum sounds (drum-replacement).
