Description : Gentle winds
Blueprint: Gentle Winds is a collection of experiments conducted forDan Keane’s future Petrichor library. A variety of saxophones and recorders were recorded, then combined with Fracture Sounds’ atmospheric sound design to form a library of airy brass textures.
While forming ideas for his newest library, Dan Keene set about recording a set of horns in a dry room to get an idea of what the instruments were capable of and how it would be translated into samples. The experiments were successful and eventually led to the creation of the wisp articulation, which is the cornerstone of Petrichor: Earthy Winds .
The Fracture Sounds team took these samples and processed them to create an airy, atmospheric layer that can be soloed in the interface.
