Description: How many times have you pulled out the bass sound just to have 16 plugins hanging on it to make it fit?
What if someone had already done all this hard work? – took control of the subwoofers, used harmonic processing and high-end hardware to achieve the weight needed for modern club recording, while making sure “every note” sings to the smaller speakers?
Wouldn’t it be perfect if this was wrapped in a format that loaded almost instantly into your DAW (in less than 1 second on a modern SSD) with decent macro control and that didn’t require an update every time your OS or app music worked?…. And added 135 midi files with a bass line?
Welcome to F9 Origins Classic Basses – each volume contains 100 patches of bass instruments to save time and create riffs.
Sampling was emotional …. But thanks to awesome hardware from Mr. Rupert Neave (RIP), API, GML (8900 is the toughest compressor I’ve ever had) SSL (Fusion is what a shiny box) and twisted genius Overstayer, CA (whose incredible modular channel is near the end), we are proud to bring the fruits of our labor to the world.
Hardware audio sources from this dual version:
Roland TB 303, Moog Minimoog Model D (reissue for perfect tuning) Sequential Circuits Pro-1, Roland SH 101, Roland Jupiter 8, Roland Juno 106, Roland Juno 60, Roland Jupiter 4, EMU Emulator II, Yamaha TX 81Z, Yamaha TX 802, Yamaha DX 100, Nord Lead 2, Oberheim OBX-A, Yamaha SY 35, Korg MS20, Korg M1, Korg Triton, Oberheim DPX, Prophet VS, Akai S3000, Akai S612, Sequential Prophet 5 (Rev 4).
Each piece is as unique as a fingerprint and demands love and attention for the bass. – These patches will give you a fantastic starting block, so when you hit a little 60Hz to fill the bottom, or hit 300Hz to get a little more “ note ” out, you’re ready to play without hammering your track into sub. or turbidity
We really enjoyed stacking some of these patches – it will take some careful filtering of the low and high frequencies, but there is so much sonic variation in the patches that you can actually get some great combinations.
