Description: Duduk is a musical wind instrument of ancient Armenian origin. Made from dried apricot wood, the duduk is a historical Armenian traditional wind instrument. It is now famous because it was featured in the films Dune and Dune: Part II with music by Hans Zimmer. Its sound is meditative and mesmerizing, similar to the sound of the oboe and saxophone. The duduk’s tongue is handcrafted from reed, and it must be pre-washed with water to make it come alive and sound again.
The duduk tells an ancient story, perhaps dating back 1,500 years. To this day, you can hear the voices of your ancestors through this instrument.
The library is recorded at 192 kHz and 32-bit resolution, and contains basic as well as experimental articulations presented in extended chromatic scales. The uniqueness of the duduk lies in the way it was recorded and further explored in snapshots.
