What is it?
Of all the DDMF equalizers, GrandEQ certainly has the most advanced DSP algorithms.
The goal of developing a digital equalizer is always to reduce the amount of digital artifacts introduced due to the inevitably limited sampling rate. As with everything else in life, the last few percent
of optimization are the most difficult, so a lot of effort has been put into creating an equalizer that would cause the least damage to your audio material.
With its minimum phase setting, GrandEQ achieves this to a greater extent than most other equalizers,
in both the amplitude and phase domains, while keeping latency very low.
The result is a very open and clean sound with excellent processor performance.
Its linear phase control is fully preserved in the time domain, using a carefully designed time-shifting algorithm and 2x oversampling to ensure excellent amplitude and (flat) phase response with the lowest possible amount of digital distortion.
