The sound of the zither is rough and dirty, often described as “soft”. We treated the concert zither harshly: we plucked the strings, stroked them, struck them, strummed them to achieve all the different sounds, noises and articulations that the zither can make. Finally, we have collected six different patches. The Concert Zither is the perfect complement to all the other rare and unique stringed instruments from Cinematique Instruments .
Note about version 2.0
In update 2.0 we have a completely new tool. Not only have we compiled all the individual .nki files into one big instrument, but we’ve also recorded new finger articulations, added more features, and updated the design.
