Description : David Starfire and Black Octopus Sound have teamed up to create a new brand of sample packs called Loops For Good, where 10% of each pack goes to charity for those in need.
The first package from Loops for Good, “Enchanted Thailand & Burma”, contains sounds that were recorded when David traveled to Southeast Asia to produce his Karuna album. Due to the ongoing political crisis in Burma/Myanmar, over a million Burmese refugees live in Thailand. David partnered with local musicians to learn about their culture and support this underprivileged community. All musicians featured in this set have been paid for their art and we are donating 10% of Thai Freedom House Chiang Mai’s net proceeds to educational programs for Burmese refugee children.
This one-of-a-kind sample pack includes many unique instruments from the region, including drums, gongs, flutes, xylophone, violin, harp, cymbals and vocals. Even the names of some of the musicians who played this instrument are included. This is the first pack to feature popular signature sounds from David Starfire’s personal collection of Ableton drum hits, basses and instrument stands that will take your electronic dance music or hip hop productions to the next level!
This sample pack is full of charm and charm and is beautifully produced, mixed and mastered by David Starfire. Because it is primarily recorded in refugee camps, temples and field recordings, this set has a unique character that studio-produced sample sets cannot reproduce.
