“Dust off your afro pick…….” OMG I’m bustin’ a gut here 🙂 I grew up when “Soul Train” was in its prime……. saw Stevie Wonder in 1972 when Earth, Wind & Fire was “who???”, opened for Stevie at University of Maryland’s Ritchie Coliseum. Those times were about as good as it gets……. my best friend was Filipino/Japanese, so we were a yellow and white dot in the packed house of Afro hair 🙂 We were maybe 13……. joints coming from both directions in the row. Something about that night I knew I’d remember the rest o’ my life 🙂
