Vocal Tools: En chant ress is a chant-style vocal library with influences from the Norwegian dialect. The beauty and power of the mezzo-soprano vocalist is conveyed through multi-sampled elements. For example, the phrase “Aramenti” is sampled across the entire vocal range provided, and through careful editing and sample start times, control of the phrase is now in the creative hands of the composer.
E – aramenti / F# – ramenti / G – menti / A – ti. This method provides more control than a traditional one-shot vocal sample library, and with Bela D Media ‘s V Script , vocal magic is easy and real-time.
In addition, Vocal Tools: En chant ress contains vocal scores and an authentic stage performance atmosphere. The possibility of realizing only the natural voice is available at the composer’s musical discretion. Special features include time-based polyphonic legato, fine vocal control with the modulation wheel, creation and storage of custom vocal verses and, finally, multipatches.
V Script is a sophisticated tool designed to make the composer’s job easier. Most aspects are done off-screen or on the fly. The composer simply needs to create vocal sequences (a group of elements) and save each one with a simple keystroke.
