The manufacturer calls the plug-in nothing more than a “system for automatic mixing of tracks.” Judging by the demo video, this is not a commercial move – the plugin actually mixes the tracks itself! It works like this – we hang up a copy of the plugin for each track of the mix, then let the “artificial intelligence” listen to the track, press the treasured “mix track” button – and you’re done! This is the “Auto Mixing System” that allows you to perfectly align your mixes in any environment. From individual tracks to bus groups, FX channels and a master fader, Mix Monolith creates a balanced mix that opens up at the touch of a button.
The plugin also has Duck/Expand and Mute groups to help you free up space in your mixes like never before. The damping is so precise that if you need -3dB of dampening for your bass guitar, that’s exactly what you’ll get every time you hit the drum. Using ducking in groups allows the kick drum to release the bass, the kick itself, the musical bus, and pump the whole mix within the same group… and it’s all perfect.
Use it on vocals to duck reverbs and delays while expanding gritty vocal distortions to add connection to louder vocal passages. With so many Duck/Expand groups, you’ll be able to create breathtaking mixes in minutes.
