First, a request for updated link……. if not doable, it’s AAX only anyway; I’m scoping around for AAX—>VST2 or 3 wrapper……… if you notice a VST x64 version anywhere it’d be nice to check out.
A friend had the hardware Aphex Aural Exciter running with an 850 watt amp plus 2 Altec Voice of the Theater cabinets…… in his bedroom……. you could literally do a small stadium show with that rig, but even with amp cranked up to 11, we’re talking at normal levels over a round of chess 🙂 High wattage, IMO, isn’t about loudness; it’s about sounding rich and clear at LOW volumes.
The Aphex VST was behind many compliments to the quality of my band’s demos; a few remarked it was the best their sound system ever sounded.
