Description : PhaseThree is a detailed model of the MuTron Bi-Phase with all the beautiful sound of this device (along with its flaws and quirks). It should be noted that due to aging factors there are no two identical Bi-Phase hardware blocks; we found the best and most subtle we could rely on, bought it at a not quite ridiculous price and disassembled it to see how it works.
The result is a painstaking digital copy of the original device, up to a unique sweep of its LFO. With the latest version, we moved away from the original and added 12-phase phasors in addition to the six-step versions found in hardware devices. (We feel that 12-step phasors have a more modern sound that people expect in the current phasor, and that the six-speed versions of the original are somewhat out of sync with the modern palette.
