Description :
Arturia is releasing an updated version of its flagship VST synthesizer.
This sixth version of the synthesizer features a new modal engine that generates signals “inspired by real-world sounds.”
According to the company, the engine is capable of a wide range of sounds: from delicate and subtle strings to rich, lush, resonant pads.
In addition to the synthesis engine, the plugin received three new filters:

- Multimode V2 multi-mode filter;
- a combined Cluster filter that adds movement and dynamics to the signal;
- Vintage LoFi, giving the signal a “lo-fi” tint.

The processing section has been expanded with a vocoder, creating both classic vocal textures and avant-garde effects. The modulation engine has been expanded: for example, users can now assign individual modulation values for each voice and work more flexibly with curves via the updated Function V2 module. Furthermore, the modulation section has received expanded randomization parameters and the ability to activate envelope followers based on specific audio signal parameters.
Other changes include the ability to randomize the behavior of the grains for each note and “infinitely vary” the grain size. The latter will allow for the creation of “flexible, constantly changing textures.”
