Chorus DIMENSION-D
The Chorus DIMENSION-D has been painstakingly modeled after one of the most sought-after effects modules of all time, the Roland Dimension D, for which everyone from Kate Bush to Stevie Ray Vaughan has performed. Now you too can bathe your mix in the same warm and spacious texture that has earned legendary status in studios around the world.
The original Dimension D, introduced in the late 70s, offered an ultra-simple solution to the problem of space in combination. However, for many manufacturers, it has surpassed its original purpose.
Chorus adds subtle swirls and slow pitch modulation for a range of rich, moving textures, but Dimension has become a popular sonic sweetener. Something that just made the sound wider, warmer, and better suited to a rich stereo mix.
This is due to the synergy between the BBD architecture, thin compression, expansion and filtering, and a unique stereo wet/dry crossmix. Each feature has been painstakingly re-engineered as a plug-in, component by component, for your virtual studio.
Chorus JUN-6
The Chorus JUN-6 is an iconic effect that brings tremendous stereo richness, analog warmth and subtle modulated movement to your sound at the touch of a button.
Its beautiful stereo system, warm BBD analog color and easy button operation were, and still are, irresistible. The 3-mode design has been carefully analyzed and reproduced to behave exactly like the original, right down to the LFO frequencies. Instant, classic speed, depth and stereo spread options. To take things a step further, we’ve added a manual mode to give you access to some familiar modulation flexibility – just in case.
Comp FET-76
The original 1176 compressor, designed by Bill Putnam Sr., truly lives up to its name. Now – thanks to Arturia’s TAE® technology – you can enjoy her legendary tone shaping with a convenient software plug-in.
Produced since the late 60s, the original hardware compressor has been a staple of every major studio. Every mixing engineer required at least one per session and they have been used to shape the sound of countless hit records from Michael Jackson to The Killers, Guns n Roses to Joe Cocker, Bruce Springsteen and Chaka Khan. However, you don’t have to settle for just one; With the Comp FET-76, you can load one of these classic compressors onto as many channels as you like.
Comp TUBE-STA
The Arturia TUBE-STA is a stunning recreation of the powerful valve-driven compressor that was the all-American workhorse of early broadcast and recording studios. With simple controls, dynamic performance and great vintage sound, you can now own a piece of history as a software effect in your DAW.
The original Gates® compressor, which began production in the 1950s, featured a bizarre, non-linear attack and reset that was very simple with almost any input. Its simple controls and fantastic, harmonically rich sound have made it a favorite among radio and studio engineers, and now, with the power of Arturia’s exclusive TAE® modeling technology, it’s destined to become your favorite. Analyzed, mapped and revived as a software plug-in, and enhanced with new features that make this golden age compressor indispensable for the modern manufacturer.
Comp VCA-65
When it was released, the original DBX 165A® was a compressor like no other.
Instead of the more traditional vacuum tube, he used a solid-state VCA to create a compression effect and advanced RMS dynamics detection. And that’s great too, and that’s the main thing!
It’s getting harder and harder to find working originals these days, but their legendary sound-shaping power is still in high demand. Now, thanks to Arturia’s advanced TAE® modeling, you can enjoy using this legendary compressor in your DAW on any number of channels and with advanced features only available through the software.
Unlike the more common DBX 160, the 165A® had several unique features that made it a must-have for studios looking for thick, punchy drum sounds. Known as an “ultra-light” compressor, its automatic attack decay detection made it easy to compress, its hard peak-stop limiter added a touch of vintage grime when things really hit hard, and its unique compression sound makes even extreme settings feel natural.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use compressor with character, you’ll love the Comp VCA-65.
Delay ETERNITY
An exciting, original delay effect with built-in effects and an inspiring variety of sounds. Arturia Delay Eternity is an innovative tool for temporary manufacturer.
A completely original Arturia design, Delay Eternity takes a deceptively simple digital delay and turns it into something spectacular.
Make your vocals extraordinary and cool in an instant; creating a resonant, harmonious buzz from any sound; shake the loop and create something completely new. The possibilities are almost endless.
Arturia Delay Eternity was born on the same drawing board as our award-winning next-generation software synthesizer, Pigments. We knew we wanted to create a deep modulation delay, but we also wanted to integrate some seriously modern features that would allow experimental and traditional music producers to experience a delay they had never heard before.
We used the same experience that we have honed over the years, analyzing and recreating famous synthesizers and studio equipment, but this time we were going to play by our rules.
Delay MEMORY-BRIGADE
The famous lo-fi delay that helped the greatest guitarists and producers achieve their unique sound is now available in your recording setup.
The Arturia Delay MEMORY-BRIGADE takes BBD’s creative dark analogue pedalboard echo and puts it in your DAW without worrying about spilled drinks, dead batteries, or whether it’s really a “true detour”.
From harsh delays to endless feedback noise, the “bucket brigade” offers a lot of creative possibilities, and as a plug-in you can use it on anything – not just guitars.
Delay TAPE-201
It came from outer space but is now available in your DAW. Organic, tape-rich delay and reverb at its best.
The Arturia Delay TAPE-201 gives you everything you love about the sound of vintage hardware tape delays, but with the reliability and versatility of software.
The Delay TAPE-201 is easy to use, fun to set up and with the most authentic tape delay emulation ever found in software effects, it will give you that spacious reverb delay you crave.
Filter M12
The legendary Polysynth analog filter has been re-engineered into an incredibly powerful modern plug-in for your DAW.
Filter M12 is a fully functional recreation of the multi-mode filter from Oberheim®’s iconic Matrix-12, complete with amazing updates that make this plugin one of the most powerful and efficient sound shaping tools available.
Combining intuitive, great-sounding, modeled analog filter tone control with programmable modulation envelopes, a detailed modulation matrix, and advanced random and modulo options, the Filter M12 is your ideal choice for creative frequency control. Create anything from fluid motions to rhythmic movements, all the way to full blown random glitches, this plugin can handle it all.
Filter MINI
Have you ever wanted to use one of the world’s most famous synth filters in your DAW?
The classic filter from our meticulously recreated Mini V software tool is now in a dedicated plugin. Now you can add the familiar filter tone to warm or smooth the sound or add sweetness to a sensitive recording.
In addition, Filter MINI also includes a powerful modulation section that consists of an envelope follower, LFO and step sequencer. Also included is a patch manager and a set of presets to inspire your creativity.
An indispensable, expressive and creative tool for any producer or performer.
Filter SEM
Filter SEM is a futuristic take on the classic synthetic filter.
Known for its pioneering technology in the 70s, SEM paid tribute not only to its sound, but also to its reputation as an innovator. Using careful modeling techniques and adding exciting new features, we have created a true modern classic sound filter.
No longer limited to the synth, you can now use the era-defining filter tone of Tom Oberheim’s iconic synth module on any sound source. Processing acoustic instruments in a DAW, shaping vocals, sweeping an entire mix, creating builds, rises and falls, even using it to enhance a standard soft synth filter.
Filter SEM is an indispensable tool for the creativity of any modern musician.
Flanger BL-20
An elusive classic. The unsung hero in the world of modulation effects.
A rare gem known for its mysterious complexity. The Flanger BL-20’s hardware predecessor may not be a household name, but its hypnotic sound and radical feature set speaks for itself.
Switch and combine multiple modulation sources, control LFO shape and stereo expansion, and immerse harmonic sweeps to uncharted depths. Flanger BL-20 is no ordinary analog emulation – it is an FX toolbox that has become asupersonic.
Phaser BI-TRON
More than just a phase. The ultimate sound that was ahead of its time yet remains hypnotic and otherworldly to this day. The Phaser BI-TRON encapsulates the quality of the transcendent from the undisputed trailblazer of the modulation world. Soft bipolar flutter, sharp asynchronous movement, resonant swirls suspended in orbit – there is nothing like it.
Using our patented TAE® (True Analog Emulation) technology, we wanted to reproduce every subtle detail, every sonic signature – even the control panel and expression pedal functionality. The Phaser BI-TRON is, in every sense, an analog dream designed for your virtual studio.
Pre 1973
For years, leading manufacturers have coveted the sound of the venerable 1073 preamp. Now, thanks to the power of TAE Arturia’s advanced modeling, you too can experience that harmoniously rich classic sound in your DAW.
Designed by forward-thinking electronics engineer and professional audio legend Rupert Neave, the preamp has become a staple of the world’s finest studios and has added its own unique tonal flair to countless hits. It was the revolution of 1970 when reliable high efficiency transistors were first applied and replaced the temperamental technology of the time. The preamp sound became an instant hit with producers, engineers and artists around the world, cementing its place in music history.
Continuing this revolution, using their exclusive TAE technology, Arturia has recreated this phenomenal piece from the history of music production. By capturing and recreating its distinct musical color, pleasing analog distortion, and sweet-sounding tone controls, you’ll be able to start your virtual signal chain with one of the best sound presses ever made.
Pre TridA
For decades, the concept of pop music has been synonymous with Trident® Studios, a pioneering venue in the heart of London’s Soho.
At the heart of the studio’s sound was the Trident® A Range® console. He became so famous for his great musical EQ and the full rich sound he was soon delivering, studios around the world were placing orders for their own A Range®. Although only 13 were ever made, they created a legacy that continues to this day.
Now, with Arturia’s revolutionary True Analog Emulation® technology, you too can experience the incredible sound-shaping power of the legendary Trident® A Range® preamp and EQ.
Pre V76
From its origins to its use on some of the best-selling and longest-running records of all time, the V76 preamp has played a key supporting role in the history of pop music.
Beloved by engineers and technicians and included on REDD’s iconic mixing consoles, the V76 was coveted for the White Album sound, every major studio in the world wanted a piece of the action, and tens of thousands of Telefunken preamps were built to meet the demand.
These days, due to scarcity and cost, it is almost impossible for most musicians and producers to purchase one of these legendary preamps. Just as Arturia has built a reputation for recreating legendary, rare synths and keyboards through cutting-edge modeling, we’ve chosen to use our TAE® technology to give everyone the chance to experience that legendary V76 sound.
By studying its sound and design, down to the intricacies of every electronic component, we have created a virtual preamp that brings the quintessential vintage sound to a whole new generation of musicians.
Rev INTENSITY
This is the most innovative sound design a reverb plugin has ever had, offering amazing new ways for experimental, progressive music creators to twist and distort their sounds and redefine what a reverb can be.
Rev INTENSITY is a breathtaking original reverb that will change the way you think about this type of sound effect. After analyzing and recreating the best studio gear ever created for the FX Collection, we’ve taken notes and cues from the classics, bringing together the best of everything digital in one great reverb plugin.
If you’re up for adventure with your reverb, Rev INTENSITY will blow your mind. Pre- and post-filtering, built-in lush chorus, reverb freeze and soft clipping. Modulate any parameter with an envelope follower and programmable function. Ideal for sound engineers and any producer looking for unusual, unique effects.
Rev PLATE-140
The silky-smooth, resonant tones of vintage plate reverbs have shaped the sound of many iconic vocal performances, lending percussion to top-selling tracks, and pairing entire mixes with bright, sweet overtones.
Original EMT®? 140 was revolutionary technology: the world’s first plate reverbtion. Brighter and more versatile than the spring reverbs and echo chambers that preceded it, this plate reverb has become part of the arsenal of virtually every leading studio. It was a serious investment, it cost as much as a house and weighed more than three people. Now, thanks to our exclusive physical modeling technology, you can use this studio legend in your DAW without breaking the bank or racking your brains!
Is the Rev PLATE-140 a true recreation of the iconic EMT® reverb? 140 and its tube preamp. A classic, full-bodied studio plate reverb with a bushy tail, a vocal dream come true, adding a welcome glue and space to your mix.
Rev SPRING-636
The boisterous “rumble” of a spring reverb has brought joy, soul and atmosphere to countless records since the technology was invented in the 1930s. Now the Rev SPRING-636 will add an authentic physical tone to your DAW.
The reverb was originally invented to add a bit of “space” to the sound of Hammond Organs back in the 30s, but is a relatively simple construction of a suspended spring inside a tank. The sound of the instrument passes through the spring, is captured again, mixed with the original sound, and that’s it!
As for the main unit, we based our software reverb on the legendary Grampian 636 spring reverb.
