Description: This solo violin instrument from our “LSS Solo Strings” library replaces our previous solo violin library and is not even comparable in quality. We sampled the instrument in a large, beautiful London concert hall, with a lot of microphones in four main positions: close mono, close pair, mid distance and far distance. The difference in microphone perspective is huge, meaning you can create sounds ranging from very dry close-in sounds to a sing-song, naturally reverberated violin, and customize any degree of interaction between the two.
3 legato modes were sampled: fluent, bowed and portamento. They are easily switched during use using the switch keys, and one extremely useful feature that we rarely see in string libraries is the ability to change the bow on the same note. Simply hold the note you want to bow on and press the low G switch key. Staccato and all triplet styles are also included. Staccato has 24 variations of one note and they will never be repeated.
