I’m amazed to see all this Acustica stuff on here. It’s some of the hardest audio software to obtain via… alternative methods. So many idiots in the comments on this site have no idea how hard people have worked to literally give us software for free.
Unfortunately, I only have a Mac. Does anybody know if there’s any reasonable prospect of Acustica products being successfully cracked for Mac? Even if they cripple my CPU, I’d love to be able to throw a few of these plugins on a project before rendering/exporting. I’m not expecting anything, but it would be a nice surprise.
Thanks, in any case, for bringing truly pro-level software within the reach of musicians who can’t afford to give all their money to increasingly predatory companies. It’s gotten so bad now that I sometimes use pirated versions of plugins I’ve actually *bought*, simply because the copy-protection measures are so obnoxious and resource-intensive.
Fuck them all — refuse to pay the ransom!
We’ll be sure to post it when the Mac version is available. But for now it seems like we have to wait for the Mac version because there are limited numbers of teams to provide alternatives on Mac.
