Description: Soundiron – Cruiser captures that nostalgic vintage 80’s synth sound, perfect for vaporwave, chillwave, nu-disco, new retro wave and similar genres. This classic 49-key subtractive synthesizer was built by Italian electrical company Siel back in 1981.
Siel Cruise actually contains two different synthesizers: monophonic and polyphonic, each with its own options and settings. We captured the retro-futuristic feel of the neon vibe by recording 16 different preset banks with limitless sustains and tight staccatos.
We’ve also created 20 stunning designer synth and FX presets that highlight the versatility of this library, from leads to pads and rhythm presets. With the Soundiron Cruiser, you can double up your lead guitar to beef them up or put that great synth at the forefront of your next big synth track.
We’ve packed the GUI with lots of great audio controls that give you the ability to shape your audio in a variety of ways. You have control over volume, attack, release, transients, vibrato and octave. The Glide control slider allows you to play legato and portamento. You’ll also find an adaptable LFO system, with selectable waveform, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo sync, and decay time.
You can also use 13 pass filters and an effects filter, with the ability to assign modulation parameters including speed, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and sequencer table control. You can also use our custom arpeggiator with the built-in velocity sequencer table and control arpeggio direction, note timing, randomization and duration.
Cruiser was recorded in the studio using a pair of Neumann TLM 103 microphones. We recorded presets with sustain and staccato on each key. Built-in vibrato and FX rack provide a simple, easy-to-use interface for fully customizing and shaping your fat analog sound to suit a variety of creative styles.
