Description : One of the world’s leading SONAR DAWs with the full SONAR Platinum feature set , relaunched in 2017 as Cakewalk by BandLab .
BandLab Technologies has launched “Cakewalk by BandLab” – replacing SONAR, the iconic DAW developed by Cakewalk Inc. This highly anticipated product release follows BandLab Technologies’ announcement last month that it had acquired all of Cakewalk’s IP and certain other assets from Gibson Brands. The refurbished DAW includes all of SONAR Platinum’s core premium features, such as the award-winning Skylight user interface, flexible ProChannel modules and a powerful 64-bit audio engine.
Add. Information :
Cakewalk by BandLab is the Platinum version of SONAR and does not include some third-party products and content bundles. Existing users who have already purchased packages or individual third-party products and plugins can continue to use those products within Cakewalk by BandLab . Notable brands in the users’ portfolio include: Rolling Stone , a leading international voice in pop culture and music since 1967, MONO , an award-winning music lifestyle company, and Swee Lee , Asia’s leading online retailer and musical instrument distributor and pro-audio brands.

Installation and treatment :
1 . Launch the installer, in the installation settings window, select the desired options, install the program.
2 . Launch Cakewalk , select the penultimate line in the “ Help – Sign ON …” tab, and log in to the Bandlab website in the browser that opens. Activation of Cakewalk must be done in exactly this way; by logging in autonomously to the Bandlab website, Cakewalk will not be activated. As of today, the developers report that “Offline” activation is not available, but it will appear in the near future. After this, you can activate Cakewalk using the attached keygen or by generating an “activation request” file.
*** Note: the R2R folder contains the file FIX to install Add Content without Sonar.reg , this file is intended for making an entry in the registry about “Installed Sonar Platinum”. This way, you will be able to install any “additional content” that came with previous versions of Sonar Platinum, without having to install Sonar itself into the system.
