Description: ⚡ Ready-made compositions. One click. ⚡
Overview:
Generate chords, melodies, basslines, and arpeggios that fit together perfectly—all with a single click, across 32 different genres. Audition them against a drum groove, refine the sound, and drag your finished arrangements into your DAW. Built on the foundations of music theory, not artificial intelligence.
You don’t need to spend hours drawing in MIDI notes one by one to capture a complete musical idea. You already hear the music in your head—you just need a starting point that actually sounds like music.
PhraseLab generates four parts simultaneously: chords, melody, bass, and arpeggios—all tailored to the chord being played. Save what you like, build new compositions from individual scenes, and arrange them before exporting as MIDI.
Every genre has been fine-tuned by ear. Dance tracks stay perfectly in the pocket, thanks to unconventional accents and rolling basslines; hip-hop and R&B tracks feel effortless, with melodies structured as phrases featuring recurring hooks. Notes venture outside the key only when it makes musical sense to do so.
You don’t need to spend hours drawing in MIDI notes one by one to develop a solid musical idea. If you can hear a melody in your head, all you need is a starting point that actually sounds like music.
PhraseLab generates four parts simultaneously—chords, melody, bass, and arpeggio—all aligned with the current chord. Lock the elements you like, regenerate the ones you don’t, and build entire songs from individual scenes that can be arranged and exported as MIDI.
Each genre is fine-tuned by ear. Dance tracks stay in the pocket with unique accents and rolling basslines; hip-hop and R&B tracks have a natural, relaxed feel, with melodies crafted as phrases centered around a recurring hook. Notes only step outside the key when it’s musically justified.
Version 1.0 is available now for Mac and Windows, with an iPad version coming soon.
