Description: Expand your capabilities
and inspire your audio production workflow

Whether for studio production, songwriting, film scoring, live performance, remixing, post-production,
or surround sound mixing, Digital Performer fuels your creativity and streamlines your workflow
using state-of-the-art studio technologies designed for the most demanding recording
and world-class production environments.
Version DP 12 introduces exciting new features such as immersive mixing in Dolby Atmos®,
AI-powered stem separation, the Arrangement Strip, and dozens of workflow enhancements.

Features :
• Dolby Atmos Support – Mix in multichannel Dolby Atmos® formats with support for playback and recording of spatial audio, object-based sound, and panning metadata. Monitor spatial mixes on speaker setups up to 9.1.6 or listen binaurally on standard headphones. Adapt your mix for standard formats and immersive audio platforms—such as Apple Music™ and Tidal™—using Digital Performer’s built-in Dolby Atmos renderer.
• AI-powered Stem Separation – Extract individual instruments and vocals from a full mix in a single operation, including drums, bass, vocals, strings, and winds. Additional options allow you to generate isolated stems, a mix with specific stems removed, or both.
• Arrangement Strip – Create sections to organize and arrange (or re-arrange) your music. Drag and drop sections along the timeline to reposition them—along with all track data contained within each section. Easily duplicate, move, reorder, trim, and delete sections.
• Enhanced Track Freeze – Freeze tracks with a single click, without creating a separate track for the frozen audio. Continue mixing tracks even while they are frozen. Commit frozen tracks to render them permanently.
• Master MIDI Controller Menu – Select one or more external MIDI controllers as your primary MIDI input device to manage MIDI input and filter out unwanted MIDI data from connected devices. • Hover effects – hover effects and animations make navigating the DP12 interface feel more dynamic.
• MusicXML import – Digital Performer can now import MusicXML files in addition to exporting them.
This ensures full interoperability with third-party notation software such as Dorico™, Sibelius™, and MuseScore™.
• Improved drag-and-drop import – when dragging external audio files or Standard MIDI Files (SMF)
onto the Track Overview or Sequence Editor timeline, you can target an existing track or the space between tracks,
which creates a new track (or multiple tracks) in that gap. You can also target a specific location on the timeline
indicated by the highlighted area while dragging.
• Tags and search improvements – tags serve as keywords for searching tracks and clips. Create as many tags as you need
and assign them to tracks and clips. You can then use tags to search for and sort tracks and clips.
• Enhanced search – search fields in track and clip lists now feature a menu allowing you to search by name,
tag, comment text, or any combination thereof.
• Preferences window search – quickly find and modify settings and parameters. Enter any keyword to instantly filter the current view.
• Search commands by key binding – the Commands window now allows you to search for commands by key binding.
This makes it easy to locate the command assigned to a specific key combination.
• Key sets in the Commands window. Key sets allow you to quickly switch between different sets of keyboard shortcuts depending on the specific task—such as editing or searching for a specific segment within the studio. Configure custom key sets for each task and switch between them instantly.
• Track presets. A track preset can include any track settings, ranging from I/O and EQ configurations to plugin chains. Drag and drop presets from the Content Browser to apply them to existing tracks or create new ones based on them. DP12 provides dozens of presets to help you get started with vocals, drums, bass, guitar, and many other instruments. Alternatively, create and recall your own custom presets.
• Custom fade and crossfade settings – Save and recall custom settings for fades and crossfades. Drag and drop fade settings from the Content Browser.
• Enhanced AAF/OMF support – Improved compatibility with new projects created according to the latest standards.
• Large Counter window improvements – Resize the Large Counter window both vertically and horizontally. Adjust the counter text size independently of the window size.
• Updated surround sound formats – DP12 now supports all modern standard surround sound formats, including 7.1.2 and 9.1.6. • High Frame Rate (HFR) support – Digital Performer now supports high frame rates above 30 fps,
including 47.952, 48, 50, 59.94, 60, 100, 119.88, and 120 fps.
• Tutorials window – provides an interactive interface for quickly learning Digital Performer.
• Pop-up help window – provides a brief description of user interface elements when hovering the cursor over them.
• VST3 automatic migration support – allows compatible plugins (such as Native Instruments Kontakt) to update or switch versions seamlessly while preserving settings and automation.
• Performer Producer Pack – contains hundreds of audio loops, MIDI chords, and MIDI arpeggios.
