PSP 2445 EMT is a reverb processor plugin inspired by two legendary reverbs from the early digital era: the EMT® 244 and EMT® 245. PSP carefully studied how to bring the characteristics of these simple yet highly musical reverbs to life in plugin form.
Overview:
We then enhanced them by adding a convenient set of parameters for controlling sound details and reverb mixing—features not available on the original hardware. PSP 2445 can operate using either a single selected engine or both simultaneously.
The reverb algorithms implemented in PSP 2445 are based on the original algorithms developed by Dr. Barry Blesser (a pioneer of the digital audio revolution). Thanks to extensive consultation and support from Dr. Barry, our algorithms sound just as good as the originals, and the plugin has received official endorsement from EMT Studiotechnik GmbH.
