Space Age 555 is a faithful tape echo simulation of the Roland® Chorus Echo™ RE-501 / SRE-555, the big brother of the iconic Space Echo™ RE-201 from the late 70s.
The Space Age 555 features multiple delay modes, a spring reverb, and a BBD chorus, making it ideal for creating warm, organic, and lush echo effects.
We retained the original “fake” stereo mode, where the outputs of the various devices were split between the left and right channels. We also added additional parameters for fine-tuning the device.
