The new plugin has a blacklist feature. It blacklists the username from the server. As soon as a blacklisted name is detected, the registration is cancelled. The problem is that the blacklist
contains the licensee’s name and email in plain text. It is
encrypted with RSA, but is still fully readable on the client computer.
They know how to use the Whirlpool hash for serial verification to avoid reverse engineering. Why don’t they use it for the blacklist? Because crack users
are honest enough to use their real name/email and never use the name
of innocent people?
