A PIANO THAT COMMANDS THE ROOM
Grand Lord redefines what a piano plugin can be—combining the warmth, power, and nuance of a concert grand with the flexibility of modern sound design. Featuring 207 unique pianos (in six categories: Classic, Modern, Vintage, Romantic, Cinematic, Intimate, Futuristic, and Experimental),
Created from pristine recordings and sophisticated processing, it transcends the limitations of both hardware and software instruments. From timeless classical pieces to lush romantic ballads, from cinematic atmospheres to futuristic textures, every note feels alive, rich, and expressive.
Depth Meets Design
Created with producers and composers in mind, Grand Lord combines authenticity and innovation. Whether scoring a film, shaping a trap melody, or creating soulful piano recordings, its design gives instant control over tone, dynamics, atmosphere, and texture. Behind the elegant interface lies a deeply capable engine: each piano responds to your touch, reacts to your performance, and invites you to create new sonic dimensions.
Touch & Tone — Adjust the tone from soft felt to hard hammer, adding brightness or warmth with seamless tonal balance.
Velocity Curve — Customize how your MIDI controller’s expression translates, delivering dynamic realism—whether you play softly or aggressively.
Noises — Combine realism with adjustable key press, key release, and Felt Touch buttons, each with independent volume, pitch, and filter shaping. Apply organic textures like Vinyl, Room, or Tape Ambience for added depth and a vintage feel.
Envelope and Modulation – Shape dynamics with full ADSR control and animate the sound with LFO modulation with synced speed, intensity, and waveform.
Stereo Width and Tuning – Control the instrument’s presence in the stereo field and fine-tune between 436 and 444 Hz for authentic or experimental pitch adjustments.
Reverse Engine – Create instant emotional surges or reverse piano textures with adjustable trigger points for perfect timing and mood.
EQ and Filters – Musically shape frequencies with low-pass and high-pass filters or balance the piano in the mix with precise EQs.
Compressor – Add punch, glue, and control with the musical Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Limiter stages.
Chorus & Delay – Enhance width and movement with adjustable speed, width, pitch, and mix parameters; Sync or bias the left/right channel for modern depth.
Degrader – Infuse character through Harmonics, Crush, Rate, and Mix, from subtle warmth to hard-hitting lo-fi destruction.
Saturator – Infuse analog-style harmonic richness for warmth or edge, giving piano body and drive.
Retro (Wow) – Recreate the nostalgic imperfections of tape with Wow and velocity modulation.
Reverb Suite (16 types) – Immerse your piano in stunning spaces – from cramped studios to Eternal Bloom halls – with pre-delay, moisture, decay, and dry/wet controls.
Delay Effects – Add rhythmic echoes and spatial layers for cinematic dimension or modern trap-style bounce.
Installation :
- For AAX users, read the attached file “INSTALL THE GRAND LORD – Windows” as I don’t work with AAX and can’t verify.
- For VSTi and VSTi3, here are simple instructions. Copy or move the file of the desired format to the appropriate directory.
Place the “Producersources” folder in C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Roaming. - Use the keygen for activation.
- Create a folder in any convenient location where you’ll store the content, say, “The Grand Lord content.” (The plugin will still create its own folder in Documents, which you can simply delete. You can also install the content there if you prefer. I prefer to initially store it on a different drive.)
- Open the plugin and click “Install Sound” at the top. Select the “GLP Collection_Samples.hr1” file, then the content folder you created. Restart the plugin. Everything works. I’ve described my installation; in any case, the “INSTALL THE GRAND LORD – Windows” file will help. Voila.
