This latest expansion for Stylus RMX is dedicated to Bill Bruford, an English drummer known for his furious, virtuosic, polyrhythmic playing style. He was the original drummer for the renowned British prog rock band Yes. He later played with King Crimson, UK, and many other bands, alongside many renowned musicians, and also pursued solo projects (Bill Bruford’s Earthworks, among others). In the 1980s and 1990s, he experimented extensively with electronic drums and percussion, but eventually returned to a traditional acoustic drum kit. In 2009, he retired from active touring and studio work.
