To fully utilize the capabilities of the Quagliardi channel strip, BoomBlender includes three THD options,
modeled using machine learning technology and accurately simulating the harmonic distortion of the Quagliardi 501+ preamplifier.
These three modes allow you to determine how much distortion the dry signal undergoes immediately before compression.

Four specially designed compression styles make decision-making easy. Whether you’re leveling vocals, boosting bass lines

Mid/Side Mode:

Technical Fixes
• CPU Optimization: Fixed a CPU resource leak issue when actively using all three THD modes (501+ preamp emulation).
• M/S Phase Fix: Fixed a micro-latency issue in Mid/Side mode that could cause phase distortion when summing to mono in version 1.0.1.
• DAW Compatibility: Fixed a white screen issue with the interface in Ableton Live 12 and Logic Pro on recent versions of macOS.
Feature Improvements
• Smooth Bypass: Added smooth interpolation to the Blend knob and Bypass button, eliminating clicks and pops.
• Preset Management: Fixed a bug on Windows where user presets would not appear in the menu after reloading the plugin.
• Crossover Accuracy: Increased filter steepness in the Boom section, allowing for more precise sub-bass isolation without affecting the lower mids.
