A powerful synth instrument, The Riser has all the tools you need to create breathtaking transitions in one intuitive user interface. In seconds, you can create builds, decays, sustains, fades, and more using our renowned sound synthesis technology. For instant inspiration, The Riser features 300 professional presets that you can edit, disassemble, copy, distort, and embed into your tracks.

Peculiarities :
A transition builder optimized for electronic music production, scoring, and remixing.
3 editable oscillators; sweep, noise, and chord
. 3 low-pass filters; free-running, tempo sync, and pumping
. 23 filter types, including multi-pole and phase shift.

300 professionally designed, editable presets.
The randomizer generates patches at the touch of a button.
Invert mode creates additional patches by instantly reversing the transition direction.
Simple MIDI learn mode; simply press and turn to assign parameters to your favorite MIDI controller hardware.
The pump effect creates pulsating motion.

Adjustable panning movements and main stereo width adjustment.

Transitions add tension, excitement, drama, and dynamics to music. Cymbal decays and reversed instruments were used as transitions for years until the advent of fast and flexible audio editing in DAWs opened the door to complex sound effects. Combined with synthesizers and other audio processing tools, transitions transformed from a science into an art. Until now, this process had been complex and time-consuming, detracting from the project itself. The composer spent countless hours getting plugins, virtual sample players, hardware effects, sound modules, and other equipment to work seamlessly—and that was before they even hit the record button.

“Three for All.”
With the most powerful and musical virtual synthesis engine, The Riser can be used to create classic transitions or effects never heard before. At the core of The Riser are three smoothly adjustable oscillators: sweep, noise, and chord. Each oscillator has a dedicated filter and graphical display of its parameters.

Sweep—with adjustable volume, frequency, and oscillator shape—defines the direction and sequence of transitions. Create build-ups, decays, stops, and fade-outs with audio and visual feedback.
The Noise Oscillator lets you adjust volume, shape, and pitch, adding texture to your transition. Start shaping the effect to add sharpness, bite, hiss, impact, and more.

The Riser’s Chord Oscillator opens up a whole new world of creativity. Use it to tailor The Riser’s sonic structure to the key of your song (or a contrasting key) and customize it to your liking. It can be as musical as you want it to be.

Three low-frequency oscillators (LFOs) provide additional modulation to your transition. A tempo-synced LFO works in harmony with the tempo of the original track in your DAW, increasing the complexity of the transition. A second LFO operates independently, meaning it’s not tied to the original tempo. A third effect, the Pumper, modulates the synth using a dynamics control in conjunction with the track’s tempo. This pulsating effect adds expressiveness and dynamism to the transition. It includes varying timings and depth controls to adapt to your track or emphasize it.
