Beyond the
Transient Shaper, a transient shaper is an audio processor that can boost or reduce transients or tonal components of a signal. It has become an indispensable mixing tool in every studio.
Quantum automatically detects and classifies signal transients, separating the sound into two paths: attack and sustain. The level of control you have is unparalleled, allowing you to add effects to each circuit separately before combining them back together.
When it comes to innovation, we struggle to categorize our own creations. Is Quantum a transitional shaper? In a sense, it is, but when you compare it to a typical transitional shaper, you fall short, as it’s much more than that. Quantum is an innovative system, and it doesn’t fit neatly into a simple category.
Quantum’s intelligent
transient detection is a state-of-the-art transient generator at its core. We use this technology to automatically detect transients. This results in more natural, artifact-free results than other methods, which can sound digital and riddled with artifacts.
Quantum eliminates the need for a threshold parameter that you would otherwise have to set for each track, allowing you to work faster and achieve flawless results.

Using the main volume control for attack and sustain already makes a significant difference to your sound. But Quantum comes with 16 high-quality DSP effects that you can independently add to the attack or sustain portion of the signal, exponentially increasing the plugin’s sonic capabilities.
