Universal Piper is a midi virtual instrument. It can be used solely or included in a DAW(*). It responds to midi note On/Off from Ab3 to Bb4 (for the standart GHB presets), which correspond to the natural scale of the GHB instrument; but can be also used with a midi practice chanter. If you want to find your own usage notation you can open the ‘setup’ panel and change the default notation of the software (from Breton, Scottish, or international). Every modification you make will be saved by the software and reloaded as default configuration next time you open it.
