CITRUS PPC412V
This is the classic version of the legendary PPC412C, used by guitarists such as Jimmy Page, the Gallagher brothers and Peter Green, but this time it is a 70’s cabinet with an Eminence 12820PA amp, which gives a vintage sound typical of those years.
FINDER BMAN212
Used by the likes of Kurt Cobain, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Billie Joe Armstrong, Buddy Holly, Andrew Stockdale, Tom Petty and even Brian Setzer, this is for many a classic Fender or pure tone. Based on a Fender Bassman with original Oxford speakers, this cabinet produces a warm, very listenable tone.
MR SHALL 1972B
For many, this is the first choice when looking for the Marshall sound used by Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Angus Young, Gary Moore, Joe Perry, Joe Bonamassa, Yngwie Malmsteen, Metallica, Kiss and many more. Arguably the most recorded cabinet of the 70s and 80s, it may have created the sound that many of us are familiar with.
Based on a 1960B Marshall from the 70s with a 20-watt G12M and original Pulsonic cones, this is probably the most expensive cabinet to pair with any Plexi amp.
SUPPO 1688TN
This brand may be a little underrated, but if it’s good enough for Joe Perry, Lenny Kravitz, Billy Gibbons, Corey Wong, The Cure and Richard Fortus, it’s good enough for any of us. Used on many older records for its signature tone, which is still prized by those who like to use it with a fuzz to get that super-rich, shredded sound. Based on a Supro 1688TN with a Jensen P12PS mic.
TONE VARIATIONS:
Our IR kits include 3 IRs per mic, tuned for bright, balanced and dark. The pack also includes a folder of “Bullet Proof Captures” with a sweet spot and very balanced tone. Mic mixes for great sound without wasting time.
