The Legend HZ continues the legacy of its predecessor The Legend.
The result of this collaborative effort is an analog modeled software synthesizer
that is uniquely positioned for use in modern film scoring and music production applications
. Most importantly, it maintains this position while faithfully recreating the sonic
characteristics of the original hardware.

Unrivaled Precision
The Legend HZ has been designed with great care and attention to detail, so no
opportunity was missed to create a software synth that is both incredibly easy
to use and insanely versatile. At its core, it is the product of the combined knowledge of a genre-defining composer
and Synapse Audio’s experience in emulating an industry-defining synth.

Building on the success of The Legend, we teamed up with Hans Zimmer to chart new frontiers
in analog modeling synthesis. The Legend HZ adds many features
that were previously unavailable in The Legend. These include three additional oscillators
(and with them additional polyphony control), a modulation matrix, a 32-step sequencer,
MSEG for additional modulation controls, and an expanded effects section.

The Legend HZ even features a fixed filter bank modeled after
Hans Zimmer’s personal Vintage 914 fixed filter bank, an exceptional and rare piece of equipment.
Furthermore, 200 factory presets have been added, developed jointly by expert sound designers
Kevin Schroeder and Hans Zimmer. The factory sound bank gives anyone access to a wide range of
cinematic-style sounds, while the Legend HZ itself provides access to some
of the instruments they use.
