Description: The library contains four sections of ultra-deeply sampled ostinatos from violins, violas, cellos and basses. It was designed to cover all types of ostinato techniques from slow, gentle to fast and strong. Ostinato recorded both traditional multisamples and simply unique samples. Multisamples contain three types of Spiccato (Single, Double, Triplet), Marcato, etc. Ostinato samples were recorded at four different tempos slow, medium, fast and very fast and with multiple speakers that are simply controlled by your modulation wheel.

Century Ostinato Strings contains over 20,700 ostinato samples and 4 microphone positions including Mixed, Close/Intimate, DECCA and Far/Wide. This gives you complete control over space and sound. Whether you need an intimate, intimate sound or a richer, fuller symphonic sound. The ostinatos were also recorded with identical players, conductor and the same magnificent hall used for our Stury Stury and Brass collections.

But most importantly, Century Ostinato Strings is easy to use, highly playable and full of life. It breathes new soul into musical notation and allows you to fully experience realistic Stin Ostinatos like never before.

Richness of Short Notes: Century Ostinato Strings are designed to cover the short notes of a film. We first recorded three types of Spiccato (Single, Double-Stroke, Triplets), which allows for more advanced harmonic figures. They were also recorded in RR. But in even more detail, we recorded four types of ostinato patterns from slow, medium to fast and super fast. The library easily adapts to your DAW pace. Slow ostinatos are written more smoothly. All ostinatos were also recorded dynamically – meaning you can control the velocity dynamics via the modulation wheel. Just play it like you would a piano.

Century of Modularity: Our Century Ostinato Strings were recorded in the same room as the rest of our Century series. The same players. The same conductor. Same engineers and microphone positions. All Century libraries are designed as modular libraries. Everything is designed to work together. All Century libraries were recorded in the same room and with identical microphone settings. So you can create your own modular ensembles by combining the Century Stings, Harps and Century Brass libraries.

Microphones: Century has highly customizable audio with 4 mic positions that you can set to any angle. Perhaps you just want a simple sweet spot for all of our microphones? set up close mics to get a super-heavy bottom end for an extremely fast ostinato! Maybe you want a 5.1 mix or perhaps a classic mix? Well, Century has both Decca and Wide/Far mic arrays to help with this. With everything offered in a single, simple yet cutting-edge environment, instant access to all 4 microphone arrays and access to all articulations is just a click away.

Interface: Century Ostinato Strings has the familiar GUI you all know and love. Designed for a seamless workflow, all articulations can be easily accessed in a few clicks. Empty slots allow you to select the articulations you want, simply double-click to access the full list of articulations. Each slot is automatically assigned a switch key (or CC if you prefer), so you can literally create an enhanced matrix of up to 10 articulations in just a few seconds. Accessible and intuitive, this is Century!
