Description: Welcome to AGE – Acoustic Grand Ensembles – the most comprehensive collection of alternative ensembles ever made.
AGE Vol. 1 contains five different Grand Ensembles, including the Concert Piano Ensemble, Acoustic Guitar Ensemble, Xylophone Ensemble, Glockenspiel Ensemble, and Trumpet Ensemble. All contain 9 different microphone positions. Microphones are divided into two main groups: Ensemble (Close, Mixed, Decca, Far, Wide) and Divisi (Spot Mic 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). In this way, you can choose whether you want to hear the whole ensemble or accentuate an individual instrument in ensembles.
All ensembles were recorded in several different ways depending on the nature of the instrument. Piano Concert Ensemble contains articulations such as Sustains, Staccato, Tremolo, but we also recorded Ensemble with Plucked Sustains, Fast Glissandi, Cluster Variations, Rhythmic/Percussive FX etc.
The Acoustic Guitar Ensemble contains both Sustains, Staccato, Bartok, Harmonics, Tremolo as well as many different rhythm patterns and group chords all in sync with BPM.
Other grand ensembles, such as the xylophone, bells, have their own set of articulations, specifically designed for the nature of the instrument. AGE Vol. 1 also contains 50 different custom synthesizers.
