Dubstep is a thriving EDM world. Dubstep is a complex genre of electronic dance music, more precisely EDM, that originated in south London, England. Its first appearance was in the late 1990s as a development in a lineage of related styles within the EDM classification. It is mixed with 2-Step Garage, Dub, Techno, Drum and Bass, Broken Beat, Jungle and Reggae. The rise of Dubstep began in 2012 when Skrillex made his massive breakthrough in the industry. Skrillex, or Sonny Moore, was a crazy inspiration in the Dubstep scene, with hundreds of artists emerging quickly. These artists have taken inspiration from Sonny and many other producers in the scene and have continually changed the sound of the genre over the past 5+ years. Dubstep has had a huge impact on the EDM industry and we hope this package helps continue that legacy.
