The company Native Instruments has released ACTION STRIKES – intuitive orchestra percussion instrument to create rhythms for the film using 12 unique ensembles, 65 individual instruments and 12 sets single hit – with all control functions in real time. This tool for Kontakt 5 has been created together with the company Dynamedion, which is known in particular for his work on the tool ACTION STRINGS.
ACTION STRIKES equipped with an advanced interface, specially designed to create orchestral pieces for film, television and computer games. 12 carefully selected ensembles provide a signature sound that is suitable for a variety of film genres.
Upper, middle and lower sections of different ensembles can be mixed and matched, giving as a result more than 1,700 variants of timbre.
Developers ACTION STRIKES focus on ease of use and workflow efficiency. Accents are controlled by the left hand and right hand selects variations. Modulation Wheel controls the dynamics – from a quiet whisper to the loudest fortissimo – while the Tone Wheel controls accent force.
ACTION STRIKES runs on software KONTAKT 5 or the free KONTAKT 5 PLAYER.
