Description: Join us at LAFX Studios in Hollywood for a video streak featuring iconic rock engineer and producer Eddie Kramer! We dive deeply into his recording and mixing techniques used in Grace Potter’s “The Wind Cries Mary,” an outstanding cover version of Jimi Hendrix’s classics, which Eddie also designed in 1967. Kramer begins with an overview of the 70s API Console, his hybrid workflow, and signal routing setup. Outputting from Pro Tools to the console, he mixes the recording from scratch until he is satisfied enough to record the result onto the ATR master tape. In addition to explaining every detail of the mixing process, Eddie gives an introduction to the recording process for vocals, drums, double bass, Hammond organ, piano and electric guitar.

Content :
1.API console specs, hybrid setup, printing to tape, mix versions, effects, drum treatment
