AudioCipher is a music inspiration app. It’s designed to give producers like you a tool to practice and play with while you come up with new ideas. You simply enter a word or phrase and a tone. AudioCipher automatically translates your text, letter by letter, into a series of MIDI notes. You can drag and drop this MIDI data onto the track of your choice with the software instrument.
Why turn words into music? Because composers have been doing this for years to overcome creative exhaustion. Nobody wants to do this transformation in their mind (too much math), so we have automated the process for you.
Some use AudioCipher with RipChord, a free chord generator plugin, to create new and unexpected chord progressions. The advantage of AudioCipher is that it can help you get a starting point for composition, songwriting and beat making. This is not a melody generator like Melody Sauce. AudioCipher will only show you the way, and you decide how to move on.
