Sierra and El Capitan security bypass / Unable to launch program due to damage:
Sometimes there is a problem on the Sierra at the stage of the first launch and verification, writes
“Failed to open the program due to damage. Move the program to the Trash .
It is necessary to do the following:
Open “Programs / Utilities / Terminal”. Enter the following command:
sudo spctl –master-disable
Enter the password. Then go to Sitem Settings / Security and Safety and note that the title will appear:
“Allow the use of programs downloaded from:” “Any source” . This is an important feature that is hidden from the eyes in Sierra!
Next, run the program. Enjoy your life!
To get the settings back, enter this command:
sudo spctl –master-enable
Then go back to the “System Settings / Security and Safety.” Notice that the title of “Any Source” has disappeared. But the program will not stop working after this, it will continue to work! It seems to be unlocked after this procedure.
Run the program again. It will appear in the “Dock” panel.
Right-click, then “Options”, select “Leave in the Dock”, if necessary!
